Straddling the line

This dress is pretty awesome – the idea is simple enough, with a two-tone look in stone and black, but the detailing is what sets it apart. The pleated tulip skirt and pockets at the side are girlish, but the high waist and gold studded waist are quite edgy and “now”. And it looks even better when it isn’t blending into the wall.

Note that I named this piece after ridiculously stylish Chictopian Karla of karlascloset.com because it reminded me of her. She is amazing.
