I’ve been a fashion enthusiast for as long as I can remember but my love for style extends far beyond the contents of my closet and infiltrates itself into every aspect of life. I adore the way fashion helps me externally channel my built up creativity; for example, this outfit is a visual representation of my “stylish sole” as it is comfortable and colorful. I’m a laid back individual and I believe that comfort is one hundred percent vital in order to achieve anything. I am referring to all aspects of comfort here: comfort food, comfortable situations, comfortable and cozy rainy days spent bundled up under a heap of blankets…you get my point. However, when life gets in the way and I’m forced to venture out of the confined safety of my dry house into the pouring rain, (as I was the day I wore this outfit) it is not necessary to exchange comfort for style. So often I see my classmates conform to the demands of the weather and exchange their adorable outfits for pajama pants and a sweatshirt. As tempting as sweats can be on a nasty, rainy day, the look is a complete snooze fest and the exchange would not be reflective of the outgoing and unique personality I am proud and grateful for.
