the teal shirt and bun return! like they say, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” keeping my hair in buns and braids seemed to be my only option in the heat. with this much hair, it’s like wearing a blanket on my neck when it’s down!
the sf indian summer heat wave has finally subsided, but luckily, i got to enjoy every day of the awesomely unbearable heat that reminded me so much of my summers in iowa. the pictures in shorts show what i wore to dolores park for a day with friends and our pups. exposing as much skin as possible was the only way to go that day. trust me. (pardon the tan lines!)
then yesterday, i wore another variation of the outfit but this time more appropriate for a day of walking around rather than lounging in the park. cowboy and i visited shannon at the salon for a bit and played with his new harinezumi camera.
as i’ve been saying, i can’t stop wearing this shirt! it’s the perfect cover up while staying cool in the heat. while i’m on the search for a job, i’ve had to maintain a VERY thrifty budget, and that includes wearing pieces in as many ways as possible to create new outfits.
