My best friend’s favorite color is blue and mine is green. We’d always argue on which color is the best as a little inside joke since we were kids. My closet is organized by color and ironically, I have way more blue clothes than I have green. When it comes to clothes, I find that blue is way more wearable than green. The different shades are just so flattering on everyone. Also, most colors (ie. red, white, yellow, brown, black, grey, etc) compliment blue very well. With the denim on denim trend still going strong, I have been loving this trend that’s inspired by that trend: Blue on Blue. It’s for people like me who don’t own any denim in their closet.
To break up the blues these girls usually used one color to accent it. I find that red, black, and brown are great accent colors when it comes to wearing blue. It’s also easier to wear contrasting hues when it comes to wearing all one color (ie. navy blue with baby blue). Sticking to one color also makes pattern mixing a little easier. Have fun with this trend, which could work with just about any color: Green on Green, Red on Red, Yellow on Yellow, etc. So I hope to see a lot more color this season!
