So you all must’ve read Annie’s post on the Binetti S/S 2011 collection, but she and I were lucky to go together on Saturday morning. We were first in line to view the presentation that was held in the Box. I think I prefer presentations over runways just because everyone gets to see the clothes up close (and it’s so much easier to take pictures of the collection).
I immediately fell in love with this first dress, like I want to get married in this dress! The metallic flowers over the tulle were such a great touch and gave an oriental feel to the dress. After obsessing over this dress for 10 minutes, I moved onto the rest of the collection which didn’t disappoint! I really loved how there were a variety of garment types such as pants, dresses, skirts, and jackets—each of which had intricate details. Not to mention that the jewelry and accessories used to style this collection can be a whole other post on its own! Finger-long length rings? Yes please! There was also a variety of colors ranging from gold and silver to peaches and blues. I was never a fan of metallic because I think most of the time, it just looks cheap; but Binetti used it appropriately and well.
For more photos, I’ll be posting them on my blog, Transient Withdrawal in a few days :)
