I love this outfit. As the summer rolls to a close, I am starting to break out my adorable colourful tights. There is something magical about these bright red tights against the dark black dress. Pairing the red belt with this outfit ties the colourful tights with the rest of the look and really makes the whole thing come together. This look doubles as a daytime and an evening outfit which is great for being on around town all day.
These have been my classic everyday shoes I have been wearing all summer and they are worse for wear. They have trekked all over San Francisco, Toronto, Collingwood, Ottawa Valley, Germany, Austria and Italy. They have been amazing shoes, the cute bows spice up any outfit but seeing as they are plain black in colour and are flat they can be worn with a casual look too. When they finally wear out it will be a sad, sad day.
This scarf was a fantastic vintage find. I love the colours but the design of the scarf is the star of the show. As a graphic designer, I am drawn to composition and this scarf has tiny little details everywhere that keep you looking and finding new little treasures inside this pattern. It’s fantastic Victorian-esque designs and faux jewelery print bring attention up to my face and replaces the need for a necklace, which is unusual for one of my looks. The bright red accents make it a lovely pairing to this red mod outfit.
