Navy blue suits this blonde better than black: soft but still sophisticated. My vintage sheer dress was long estranged from its slip when I found it – luckily I have a drawerful of them. I wrapped the frock’s sash around my head as an abbreviated turban & added a patriotric pin. Lace covered buttons (heartbreakingly well constructed) descend behind me from neck to waist; the high collar dates this dress to circa 1930s… Fashionshesays.com.
