One of my best finds two weeks ago is this gorgeous Marc by Marc Jacobs Packables Tote. I’ve seen the plain ones back then and thought, “Hey, that would be a perfect travel or shopping tote”. But needless to say, I never got around to it. Then one day, as if the Gods of Bargain Shopping touched me and I clicked on this next day free shipping ad. Lo and behold the Marc by Marc Jacobs Packables tote in this sheen animal print of blue and chocolate brown! Marc by Marc Jacobs call this the “Shaded Spruce in Multi” color. It also comes in black and white, and pink and maroon. It is gorgeous for so many reasons and those reasons I shall enumerate below.
1. Gorgeous Print and Bold Color
Travel totes and shopping totes need not to be boring. Travel is all about having fun, so having a fun tote to tag along will make your day even brighter. Enough of the plain travel totes already. It’s time to go for a fashion forward and bold choice such as this animal print in a bold color of blue and dark chocolate brown.
2. Packable or Foldable
There are some other foldable totes out there but this one is entirely foldable which means you can fold and pack it as an extra bag when the need arises. You can even keep it inside your handbag’s inside pocket! That’s how packable it is. You can use it not just for traveling but also for shopping. When you’re tire to carry your huge handbag or if you have more goodies in need of one large tote, just pop out your Packables tote and voila – instant gorgeous bag.
3. Very Light Tote
The Marc by Marc Jacobs Packables Tote is so light unlike the rest of the fabric totes or foldable totes I’ve tried. This one is perfect for those who are having back problems and such, due to carrying heavy leather bags. It’s a great bag to use on the weekends when you’re running errands, doing your grocery or even going to the gym. In the photo, I used it to go bargain shopping all day. Let your back and shoulders rest a bit and take a very light tote such as this from time to time.
4. Affordable Luxury
This Marc by Marc Jacobs Packables tote is from Marc Jacobs, a great designer of his own label and also Creative Director of Louis Vuitton. So expect that this tote is not as cheap as the regular foldable and packable totes you’ll see in stores. However, with a price of $58, it’s one piece of affordable luxury. Now how can you go wrong with that?
