Apologize again for the short hiatus, work got in the way of taking outfit photos. But I enjoy my job so it’s not too bad to be in the boutique all day! Can you believe this dress? I know I couldn’t. When I saw it sitting there in the store amongst other 50’s frocks, I just could not believe that no other customer had snagged it before I did. Hypnotized by its beauty I marched to the front of the store and paid for it, almost robotically. My mom loves it too; she says my great-aunt had a very similar dress just like it at her wedding. It probably could have been someone’s wedding dress dream, and now it’s my love. I am taking an English class this semester at school, and my first essay was to analyze my reaction to a piece of art; be it a painting, sculpture, song, virtually anything. I wrote about this gem! This beautiful dress is, in my eyes, a glorious piece of art and almost better than other forms of art because one can wear it, and live in the art. Yes, I am obsessed.
