I (he)ART Chictopia!

This is my entry for the I (he)ART Chictopia contest!

This was an amazing competition and opportunity but of course I squandered my time and only just finished the design today, at the last minute. Silly me!

Sorry about the horrible quality, I drew it by hand and then scanned it :P
Of course I only just planned my design at the last minute (this is the last day to enter!) so I haven’t had time to fix it up on the computer haha!

My design was inspired by vintage cameo brooches and old antique picture/painting frames. I love the intricate design of lines and swirls :)
I wanted to keep the design relatively simple and it’s only black and white as this will suit most blogs.

The first image is the “My Style Gallery” badge.
In the second image I have made two badges that could be used on a blog, I haven’t written anything in the middle but they could say things like ‘Follow me on Chictopia’ or “I love Chictopia.”
The third image is a “Add my look as a favorite” badge. It kind of killed me to use the American spelling of ‘favorite’ instead of the Australian spelling of ‘favourite’ which is what I normally use :P

I just drew these by hand, if I actually won the competition I would make sure that the designs were fixed up all nicely on a program like Photoshop, with all the correct proportions and everything. :)
