I named this post after the song only because when I first learned of harem pants, it instantly made me think of the personal style of Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer! Thankfully, harem pants have come a long way since the two rappers first started donning them! This pair from American Apparel is the second pair of harems that I own, the first being the camel colored ones that most of you have already seen! I really like these because they’re not too genie-like, the cut is more fashion-forward, and of course I love the color mint!! However, these look like more of a light blue in the picture! I wanted to style these with more of a light and summery look being that the end of summer is nearing, so this might be my last chance to consciously revel in it! Don’t be fooled, this cover-up is made of a very thin material, so it was perfect for wearing over this bandeu tube bra that has proved to be a true staple this summer!
I hope you all will enjoy the fun, summery feel of this look because I will be soon moving on to a more transitional dressing as fall is almost knocking on our door!! Thanks for all your sweet words! I do appreciate it! :)
