Happy Merdeka for yesterday! I almost forgot that it was Merdeka (no public holiday in Au) until a friend reminded me of dinner that night. We celebrated Merdeka (Malaysian Independence Day) with a vegetarian nyonya dinner.
It was wet and miserable, but I was happy as I had my new Sass dress to wear! Its really pretty made with silky printed midnight fabric with oodles of ruffles at the hem! Sorry for the crappy photos, it was dark and rainy, not ideal for photos!!
I also had a mini beauty haul in August. hehe not sure why but I’ve developed a lipstick crave! It all started with the July cover of Vogue with Marion Cottilard -at that time it had been hanging around the house for about 2 months, and staring repeatedly at her face, I decided I loved her makeup and proceeded to purchase starting with the lipstick (Dior Addict Lip Color in Infamous Rose) and eye shadow (Dior iridescent 5 color palette in Crush Glow – sold out in Perth according to several rude Dior SAs but my lovely mum and Sally have sourcing it for me in KL) and maybe the blush!
My Chanel Coco Rouge in Mademoiselle – have been resisting this since my May holidays (would have bought it then if not for more rude Chanel SAs @ 1U) and since I couldn’t justify payingA$50 for it when it was RM95 (equiv of A$34). And of course I couldn’t just tumpang beli one thing lol I also got a MAC lip conditioner in Petting Pink which is amazing with Coco Rouge Mademoiselle! I see Coco Rouge in Chintz in my future….
