I stopped by one of my favorite vintage stores yesterday morning and when I laid eyes on this insane dress, I knew I had to take it home and wear it immediately. I’m sure by now it’s evident I enjoy wearing dresses that are decade specific and adding a modern twist, and this piece was no exception. I added the pins and my favorite belt as my fallback accessories and these little leather shoes to keep the focus on the dress. I was tempted to wear my buckle platform sandals that I love so much, but I restrained myself just this once.
Moving more stuff into my apartment today, phase two. Which involves bringing over my shoes, dresses, coats, bags, belts, which is obviously the most work. Lucky for me I have a spacious room so that all the necessities can easily fit. My roomate’s dad is always making fun of how many shoes I have and how many trips that would take, and my dad doesn’t mind chiming in too. I think it’s funny, and I laugh with them. It’s good to laugh at yourself every once in a while! Especially because it seems like I am the only one that thinks my shoe collection is pretty tiny.
