Awkward weather we are having here in the midlands, windy and chilly and then suddenly stiflingly hot. I’m enjoying the oppurtunity to layer however! This is nothing extraordinary but a true representation of those days when all I want is my jeans. These military boots have done me so well they are coming up to there 3rd winter and you can really tell they were genuinely made for the army, the leather has that delicious supple feel so they literally mould to my feet. I went through stages of wearing checkered laces with them, they are almost a half breed of marten v army surplus.
I spent the day ambling with a friend, trains, charity shops, an art gallery and spiced parsnip soup, I bought an amazing hand crocheted throw for my leather armchair the colours are that typical muddy brown and mustard retro pallette, absolutely brilliant. I think throws, soups and scarves are sure signs of fast approaching autumn, I’m already ridiculously excited for halloween which for me has a build up of 2 to 3 months, as soon as my birthday is in my sights I start planning costumes, I genuinely think its my favourite holiday!
