It’s playground rules on survival of the fittest. On the playground, you have only appearance to go on, you’re drawn to someone who looks like they have what you need (in this case, strength) to help you win dodgeball era or something. Likewise, the playground of life follows the same rules.
A personal style basically says :This is what I have, is this something that you need? Its kind of stupid, but its true.
Things that don’t really count as personal style: (1) Dressing expensive/ designer (2) Dressing by the occasion. These don’t really reflect anything more than your salary or your ability to look inappropriate. Is that bitchy? I don’t really care.
