francescalyn 's Thoughts:

I have always heard that change is good. I have been going through a shoe transitional period. I used to be purely someone who wore cute flats. Even But I’m exploring more height for day and I think I can trace it back to one specific shoe – those Chanel Spring runway clogs. The clogs seem to represent everything I would want in a shoe. I am not into fragile-looking heels. These are a touch hippie, a little tough, solid while still being fun. I am absolutely smitten.

Now I know I can’t afford them. Actually, I doubt that even if I had that kind of money I would spend it on shoes. I have a writing career to fund, places to see, and student loans to pay back. But the sudden shift towards a new look is so exciting. Plus I keep seeing Jeffery Campbell’s version, the amazing Charli platform clog which is at a much more accessible price range. Free People has a great selection of clogs on their website.

Rachel Zoe wrote about the Chanel shoes in her Zoe Report. Plus she listed the Jeffery Campbell clogs as an alternative as well!

I saw shoes like these at Mango. Awesome but too expensive considering I don't earn anything & mom buys all my stuff!
