Living in a small Southern city, you don’t see juicy in the form of lavish parties and nightly social scenes, but instead, you see it in your relationships and all the things you do. I live my life juicy because I surround myself with really creative people who are always pushing themselves (and me) to do/be so much more than they already are. It’s the people who refuse to settle and the ones who refuse to waste their precious time on lazy things. They motivate me to use my mind everyday! My blogger/chictopia friends are the same way. Seeing all their incredible crafts and talents everyday has had such a positive influence on my life.
Other than the truly unique and inspiring personalities I surround myself with, I live my life juicy by thrifting just about everything I own. I think fashion is something that everyone should be able to participate in whether they have the budget for it or not. That’s why I started my fashion blog a year ago. Growing up, my parents never took me to the mall for new clothes (and I hadn’t discovered thrifting yet), and I remember how depressed that made me feel because I had no way to express myself like the other kids did. Being a teenage girl is tough enough, and I didn’t want another girl to go through the same feeling I did, so I started my blog as a way to show girls that you can have a really cute and unique style without a big budget.
On a side note, I made a video to go with this outfit if you’re interested.
