This is one of my new dresses from H&M I mentioned a few posts ago. I hadn’t been to H&M in ages because I didn’t really like their new collection, but when I randomly walked in during my lunchbreak at work, I immediately spotted a couple of adorable dresses. This one was available in solid black, dotted red (the one I’m wearing) and dotted black. So cute and frilly! And after my cute and frilly Summer Finn day, I was in the mood to shake things up. So I wore this dress with my H&M ankle boots which I love to death. I immediately feel like a rocker when I put these on! By the way, I seriously think there should be a style in the drop menu called “Chloe Sevigny”. Yesterday I was inspired by Zooey Deschanel, but today I return to my old love: Chloe Sevigny. I love how that chick mixes bold, girly, quirky and vintage to create a look that isn’t retro, but very fashionforward.
Our girl Chloe is every bit as girly as Zooey, but Chloe’s overall look is a bit more grunged up and tomboyish. It’s all in the details: Zooey, Chloe and Diane Kruger could all wear the same little floral dress, but Zooey would pare it with black tights, flats and a hairbow, Chloe would go with socks, ankleboots and messy hair and Diane would go with heels, a hat and some gorgeous blazer and they would all inspire me to no end. I guess my own style has Chloe’s tomboy edge while being just a bit less quirky and more polished like Diane.
OK, that’s it for today I guess! THANKS for sticking by me and visiting my blog even though I hardly have the time to comment on you guys, I promise that will change once August ends! Thanks for the comments, friend requests and new fans :) you rock!
