I got these pics in right before it got too dark. I love living on a big piece of land (at least it is in my town, two acres) and being able to take pics everywhere.
I took the pictures about three days ago. When it’s sunny, I try to always get some photo time in, cause Washington weather is so unpredictable…it was sunny and now it’s been raining the last two days.
Chictopia has been bugging me lately with my pic uploads. It doesn’t matter how small I make my pics, they still cut off the sides or the bottom. Or they get grainy looking. Anyone else been having that problem? I make them smaller and it’s still not right. The original photos have rounded corners!
I’m in love with ruffle socks! I used to wear them when I was a little girl. I have been searching and searching for some reasonably priced ones forever (Urban Outfitters has them for $19! Ouch!) so I was so happy when I finally found them at a local grocery store with my best friend. I ended up buying two pairs and my best friend got some as well. They’re adorable I think! Makes me feel like a child again, hah.I got the blazer and loafers from Value Village a little while ago. The blazer has big shoulder pads in it and I’ve considered cutting them out a few times. What do you guys think? The only problem with the blazer is it was most likely owned by an older woman before me because it smells like body powder and Chanel No. 5 perfume. Just like my grandma! Lol. I’ve washed it about three or four times since I bought it and the smell won’t completely go away!!! Lol.
A little bit of my favorite, Gwen Stefani’s G, masks the smell though! :D
This is a Forever 21 Back to School Contest entry:
I’m in college now, but I still go shopping every year before school. It’s still a habit and hey, who doesn’t like new clothes?!
I have always tried to stand out throughout school and stray from the crowd. I remember I was one of the first people at my junior high to wear leggings under a skirt and everyone thought I was nuts. I had got the idea from Molly Ringwald 80s movies and some runway clippings. A couple months later…everyone at school was doing it. I’ve always made my own trends. Making unique earrings everyone wanted, making my own clothes, and streaking my hair black before it was hugely popular. I’ve always wanted to be myself, not blend in with everyone else.
Now that I am out of high school and all the “if you don’t shop at Abercrombie, then you’re weird” thing has passed, I have completely accepted my style. I love the fact that at school, I look different than everyone else. I do march to the beat of my own style drum and I enjoy it.
