Ahh thrifting, it is a college students best friend!
I’d like to believe I’m pretty good at thrifting because I am a shopping addict… and thrifting is my fix! Sometimes I just have to shop and going thrifting allows me to do so without breaking the bank.
Yes, it can be time consuming but it can be extremely rewarding as well. Which is why today’s first lesson is that Patience is key!
Sometimes I know it can seem pretty overwhelming going through racks and racks of clothes. Hell, even Forever 21 intimidates me. However, just think of all the cheap, amazing clothes you can walk away with if you just put in the effort!
When thrifting, try to go when you’re well rested and fed because you can be there awhile. Also, why not go with a couple friends and make it a fun excursion. It’s a cheap way to hang out with your friends while having a good time and leaving with lots of secondhand/vintage goodies!
Some of my favorite thrift/secondhand/consignment stores are:
Military surplus stores (lots of cool army jackets,
boots, blazers etc.)
Where are some places you like to go thrifting?
Check out 2 of the cool outfits I got, all for about 20 bucks!!

Sean Lennon t-shirt $3
Black Sequin mini skirt $4
Long black button down dress $10
