Why do people wear havaianas and ugg boots on rainy days? Why do people wear ugg boots outside the house? and this question extends far past the issue of style ( or lack of it ) is it really a great feeling to be walking around with wet feet all day long? On my way to work from university today I counted the number of people in really strange, and rainy day inappropriate footwear, i counted up ALOT of them. At work today a girl turned up wearing pink, soaked with muddy water uggs, and after a long heated debate with my manager was sent home to change, which she said she found totally unfair. The worst thing about living is Sydney is the lack of appropriate footwear in my opinion. It seems like there are havaianas for summer, supposedly acceptable for any occasion, with a transition into uggs for the colder months, although many people I know continue wearing havaianas all year long.
It’s going to be a rainy week, and I have a cold, hence the pessimistic entry. Im sure there are nice shoes in Sydney, somewhere.

loving the scarf!
