OH. MY. GOSH! You will not believe what just happened to me this morning!
But before I tell you, let me just explain my outfit: I wore a red plaid shirt from folded & hung, and paired it with an inner thrifted crochet dress. I wore this outfit throughout my day yesterday. At night, hubby and I (plus some friends) kicked it at this bar called LUNA in Wilson St. Hubby and I were supposed to pick up our baby girl from the in-laws after out whole shindig, but since our thing ended really really really late, we decided to just leave the baby there.
Here goes the “oh my gosh” part
Brace yourselves
Come this morning, drunken hangoverish self went to the in laws to pick up the baby. When I got there I went straight to our room, assuming that’s where my baby and the nanny slept. So when you open the door to our room, there’s a bathroom to your 1 o’clock. Meaning, if the door to the bathroom is left open, the person who steps inside the room can and will immediately see whoever’s in the bathroom. LITTLE DID I KNOW I WAS IN FOR A GREAT SHOCKING SURPRISE. SO I OPENED THE DOOR TO THE ROOM… AND…… THE BATHROOM DOOR WAS WIDE OPEN…. GUESS WHAT I SAW….. I SAW MY DAD-IN-LAW sitting down on the TOILET… SHIRTLESS… TAKING A DUMP. We were both so shocked!!!! OMG! Awkward moment! He was like “I’m sorry I’m sorry!” I told him, “It’s Ok.” Then I ran out the door.
I leaped (i did, literally) down the stairs and kept pinching hubby cos of my major embarrassment. I told him what happened, and I was like, “shoooooooooot! how am i supposed to face your dad again?”
later on, when dad-in-law went out the bathroom, he still kept saying, “I’m sorry I’m sorry!”. I told him,“Its okay, I really didn’t notice you were in there.” I later found out he used our bathroom cos my mom-in-law was taking forever in their bathroom. And he left the door to the bathroom open because he thought he locked the door to the room. And he totally did not expect that we’d come over that early in the morning. Oh my gosh. One of the most embarrassing moments of my life.. Well, worse for my dad-in-law, I bet.
That’s it for this post! :)
ONCE AGAIN, NOTE TO SELF: Delete this entry in a few days, just in case dad-in-law lands on my chictopia page (since him and i are friends on facebook, and since I sometimes link my chictopia posts there)
