Wasn’t going to upload this picture (put it on the blog though) since we’re not actually together but decided it’s been way too long since our last upload that we had to.
Summer is synonymous with lazy dressing, casual clothes, and hot weather, but the weather here hasn’t been very warm, to our joy. These outfits are kind of a throwback to how we used to dress everyday a year ago. We didn’t really plan on it, but we both have a yearning for simpler dressing and going back to basic, classic pieces that aren’t too dramatic or overdone. I’m sure, come Autumn, that feeling will probably subside because no one can keep us away from over the top layering and colorful prints.
Iris Forever 21 striped sweater, gifted pants, trusty Kohl’s flats that go with everything, and H&M bag.
I’ve been really into dressing in a slightly menswear yet feminine vibe I used to do all the time, but have given up on in favor of pretty dresses, and girly colors. This is a dive back into using pants, which feels strange after such a long hiatus of them.
Daniel H&M leather jacket, gifted peasant shirt, black Levi’s 510, and black boots.
My new haircut has got me wanting to dress in a more boyish, slightly 50s rebel mixed with the conformist 50s “perfect American kid” and away from more androgynous looks. Although I am on this kick of simplicity, there is no way I’m giving up the adventurous outlook of fashion forward dressing.
