Since purchasing this jacket on clearance a few months back at Old Navy (for $13), It’s been hard to pry me out of it. So I opted to find new ways to wear it, like pairing uber girly pieces with it such as florals with stripes, silk, tutus and ruffles (like so). I don’t know what it is but I love it, a whole new world of choices has presented itself. Nonetheless, I adore the way the olive hits the baby pink – it it just fits. I paired the dress and jacket with print heels, a nude belt and gold accents(forever21). Completing the look with a colorful bag and cat eye sunglasses for a day of browsing farmer’s market and boutique window shopping.
I’ve always thought that I’ve had a style of my own, and growing up in Florida you don’t get positive recognition for that, when I moved to NYC right out of high school to study fashion I realized that I was different and my style was fabulous. It was always amusing to go home to visit and see people from school wearing their matching Hollister jeans telling me I had a strange sense of fashion. Yeah…That’s it, I think it’s called a mind of my own. ;) Dare to be different.

Ps. This outfit actually caught the attention of tourists who ‘apparently’ thought I was Sarah Jessica Parker’s little sister… Love Love Love…I’ll take it.
