If you were to rock the outfit that I’m wearing in the picture, don’t you think you would get the boys to do a double-take? Good or bad, naughty or nice. you would turn some heads, that’s for sure. At first glance, it may look like a cardigan doubling as a dress, and that would probably keep the boys sitting on the edge of their seats while they try to figure out if I’m wearing something underneath or not.
I’ll be honest, back in high school my taste in fashion was completely different from most of my peers. I was often called a “witch” for wearing my “pointy heels” to school. Well look who’s wearing the heels now! ;) I wouldn’t have considered myself the “best dressed” by any means, and I was actually probably considered the worst by many people. I didn’t have a job, couldn’t afford new clothes, and had to often resort to combining hand-me-downs or pleading with my mom to take me out shopping when she could find the time.
After graduating, I started working at my first job and managed to save enough to send myself on shopping sprees. And thus. the birth of a shopaholic. I loved to buy pieces from different styles and just experiment. I tried being funky, glamorous, grunge, punk, etc. This was my introduction to Louis, Marc, Giorgio and the rest of the fashion world. Since then, I started dressing up my sister, my brother, boyfriends, girl friends and anyone else that would be willing to spend their money for my advice. People that used to mock my fashion experiments are now asking for my opinions and suggestions. I still don’t consider myself a fashion wiz, and I still try to read and learn as much as I can every day, especially from all of YOU!
