Hi everyone,
I’m having a blast here in Taipei, I went to visit my nanny/caretaker today.
She took care of me from ages 2-6, and I thought of her as my dearest aunt.
I left Taipei when i was 8 years old, and that was the last time I saw her.
Every single time I come back, I thought about visiting her but I’ve always been so busy.
Now with high school behind and Parsons to look forward to, I have time to do these things.
She often calls my grandma to tell her how much she misses me and my sister,
and now I have finally done what I should’ve done a long time ago.
After 10 years, I went back to where I started.
I was so happy to see her and her family, they watched me grow up.
She told me I have changed so much that if she ever saw me on the street,
she would never recognized me.
It is just a greatest feeling to reconnect with someone that was once so dear to you.
I wore this bright, crazy romper to celebrate this special day,
and took out my beloved berry Coach bag.
I just adore these vibrant colors for the summer time.
