i’m way beyond school days…i have a daughter in school! lol. i should post some of her outfits as she is so fun to dress. she’s gong into the second grade so she’s pretty young and can break rules. one of her favorite outfits (mine as well) are her jean shorts with her brown suede boots with this off the shoulder kind of stripe top (but of course STAYS on her shoulders) and her stella mccartney orange zipper skinny jeans with a grey t-shirt and zara braid gladiator sandals. this outfit i’m wearing reminds me of those outfits…
so #2 of the requirements…
reading the questions on the rules, i’m having to go wayyyy back lol but here it goes…i was pretty trendy in HS. back then the “it” stores to shop at were rampage/judy’s, macy’s, choice and f21 was still only in daly city…about an hour away from me but every chance i got to go i’d save about a hundred bucks to spend there and i would walk out with a good bag full. i was into the urban/romantic style. like vintage style cardigans with lingerie style cami’s. i’d wear that with dark denim flares, dark denim mini skirts and platform oxfords from doumitts (LOL) i loved suedette falres, crocheted tubetops tons of silver rings….i could go on. my friends that were in the yearbook commitee said i had a lot of votes for ‘best dressed’ our sr. year but i guess not enough. i did notice i inspired a lot of girls in HS and i did always get compliments from both friends and strangers. i felt, as soon as i saw enough people wearing a certain thing/style, it was on to next for me.
