Let me just say, I should have gotten into all the lovely gloves my Grammy gave me from her closet because they are amazing! I think they just sealed the deal on this outfit perfectly. I know this is on the edge of “costume” but I don’t really care… First, let me just say that I LOVE these shoes! I never thought white sandals would become my favorite but right now, especially this summer, they are perfect. I try not wear a lot of black in the summer, too hot, so the white is perfect to match up with the light and airy colors I am wearing for this hot summer. The best part is that they are closed toe, so I can’t wait to wear them in the winter with socks! The ankle strap is super flattering and dainty. I love the simple wooden wedge – it adds some contrast to the all white of the shoe, and allows for more versatility in choosing an outfit based on the color of the shoe. I paired them with an ensemble that really makes all the white stand out! This sailor tunic is so super cute! I’m not sure if it was supposed to be a mini-mini dress – there are long slits on the sides, but I am definitely too tall and modest to pull it off as a mini. So, I just layered a lux airy dress underneath! And added the belt to accentuate the waist. Pretty much in love with this outfit…
