Every girl has that special go-to piece in her closet. Whether it’s a floral top, romper or LBD we know that once we slip it on we feel great in it. So, why not remix it for all it’s worth and rock it out in completely different looks. For my TeenVOGUE wardrobe remix contest entry I have chosen to create three different looks with my favourite top. It is a loose flowing pink floral top with ruffles and lace from Zara. Although the top is very outwardly girly the looks I have created are all different. When remixing your favourite piece just remember that if you use your creativity, the clothes you have in your closet and accessories (of course!) you can create an amazing outfit for just about any occasion.
My three looks…..
1) Fedora’s, Flowers & Fun
This is my favourite look. It’s very urban and fun. Many of the pieces that I paired with this top are vintage inspired like my fedora which I got from Zellers, American Apparel high waisted shorts and gold oxford lace-ups from Spring. In this outfit I am also wearing aviator sunglasses from Aldo, a gold and silver juicy couture necklace, large blue flower studs from spring and a tan, long side bag from H&M.
When I put this outfit together I was thinking of Taylor Swift’s style. She’s always seen in pretty dresses and I felt like my floral top fit in with her sweet style. I paired the top with distressed looking denim shorts from H&M, Cafeina cowboy boots from Stylexchange, a seashell necklace and small orange flower earrings from Spring .
This outfit was made to be worn for a fancier party. I paired the top with a Colcci dark wash denim tulip skirt, Michael Kors heels, small orange flower earrings from Spring, a purple coach clutch and a gold and silver juicy couture necklace.
