A very fun outfit to wear… maybe a little bit too much cleavage though. Anyhow besides that I feel very comfortable wearing this, a little bit more of a rocker vibe sort of outfit. This dress is from Jane Norman (thanks to makeupbysaz I realise now it’s from Jane Norman and not from Warehouse like I said before… oops) London, bought it there last year, but I’ve seen an almost identical dress in H&M, the only difference is that the top layer of fabric of this one is tule while the H&M one is completely made in nylon or some other synthetical fabric. The H&M one is also less expensive :) that’s why we all shop H&M, n’est pas?
These shoes you’ve seen before, so why did I enter these in the shoe lover contest… well no reason actually, a lot of my shoes are my favorites so I had a hard time picking a pair out. They do go very well with the mood I was going for with this look, so that’s why I wore them today. As I said before: they are very comfortable, although they seem high, they aren’t that high heeled. I LOVE the fact that they are somewhere in between boots and regular high heels. And they are black, which is the best colour for shoes, as they go with anything (that or nude coloured shoes, I do love my nude coloured shoes but they are at the shoe repairman so I’ll have to miss them for a while).
You might notice my hair colour is a bit different? Well I had to dye the roots and appearantly the colour was picked up by all my hair. Okay now I need to tell you the entire story :p
Last november I got the idea that I would look good with brown hair, so I dyed it brown… it wasn’t exacly what I wanted to I dyed it brown again… this time it almost went black :s not really flattering for my skin tone (the time before it was redish, chestnut brown). So I wanted to get it out, went to the hairdressers they weren’t that happy that I ruined it (I don’t like this particular hairdresser, just went there because they’re close by, for my belgian girls: kreatos :s) so they told me that I needed a balayage (what’s that in English? I have no idea, it means small pieces of hair coloured in a (mostly) blonde tone) or two. So I had one and it became light brown, not what I wanted. Then one of my best friends got married (april) so I decided I’ll get the second balayage to get my own colour back. And it worked, it turned out to be a bit lighter than my natural hair, but that’s okay. Only the hair at my roots is always darker than the other parts of my hair, due to sunlight, so that’s why it was looking yukkie with dark unnatural roots and too light blonde, so I decided to get rit of these dark roots… and ended up with darker hair, yet again :) so tell me: do you think it suits me? I certainly like it.
Thank you for all your kind words,
Song of my day definetly has to be Call me by Blondie as this style reminds me of her
