Today was all about pastel pinks:
-pastel pink blazer
-pastel pink-beige shoes
-hints of pastel pink on my dress
I spent most of the day driving. The following was today’s schedule:
10:30 am – Dropped off baby girl at my in-laws.
11:00 am – Drove to McDonald’s Taft to meet up with a client – a 17 year old girl who’s hiring me to host her upcoming debut this August. (1 hour travel time – got there at 12:00 nn) So I parked my car at McDonald’s taft. It took me a good 30 minutes to wait for parking. Just then, the client texted me and told me that she wanted to meet at Starbucks instead, since it was less crowded. I didn’t want to leave and stress myself finding another parking spot at Starbucks, so I just walked about 1 block under the rain. Didn’t have an umbrella. Met with the client, discussed the flow of the program, and other details for her debut.
1:00 pm – After the meeting, walked back to McDonalds to meet my friend Jade (http://www.chictopia.com/samanthajade). Jade and my agenda was to pick up our paycheck from our recent Bench Uncut fashion show. We met up at McDonald’s since her school, CSB, is really near. So there. We rode my car and drove off to the Bench Head Office in Pasay. She was giving me directions the whole time since I forgot how to get there.
1:45 pm – Got out paychecks already! Yay! Next up – I promised Jade that I’d drive her back to school since she had class at 2. So on our way back… I made a u-turn somewhere… Then suddenly this annoying looking cop stopped us. We stopped. He said we made a u-turn at a no-u-turn spot. We told him we didn’t see the sign. Yadda yadda. Argue argue. All he wanted was a bribe (oh the philippines!!!). Didn’t really have money. Only had a hundred bucks. Pleading pleading pleading with the cop. Settled for the 100 peso bribe. He had no choice. So we wasted a total of 15 minutes there. Jade was 30 minutes late for her class.
2:30 pm -Drove to Makati Medical Center to visit my dad who’s been confined for more than a week already. My uncles and aunt from L.A. are in town to support my dad who has lung cancer (pls. pray for him). So I had lunch with my relatives. After which, I chilled with my mom, dad, uncles and aunt at my dad’s room.
5:00 pm – Left the hospital and drove home. I was stuck in traffic under the signal #2 rain for one and a half hours. Before going home, I had to pass by some Chinese resto to get some takeout for dinner. I also had to pass by 7-11 to buy my daughter’s diapers.
7:30 pm – Got home. Dead tired. But, I still had the energy to take Chictopia pictures! Yes, a certified chictopia addict!!! Took some pictures blah blah. My baby girl even joined in the mini pictorial. She’s becoming quite the little poser – such an expert posing in front of cameras now.
Now that I’ve uploaded this I’m just sitting back, relaxing, drinking a cup of milo, and watching some cheesy tagalog soaps (hahahaha. my new past time, which i am so ashamed to admit, but am admitting anyway! hahaha – waiting for magkaribal and rubi..)
