i just want to scream! my title, that’s me screaming lol. well okay, it took me about 4 months to get the courage to wear 5 inch platforms when i got my first really high pair last month. they weren’t so bad. just as long as they’re comfortable. so, i was browsing around last week online and found THESE on sale! i’ve been lusting over these since february. i confirmed my purchase in no longer than a second! i received them a couple days ago and oh my gosh, i’m so in love with them.
i tend to pose this way when i’m wearing something long and flowy…so sorry, if i’m starting to do it too much!
anyway, i’m going to rant a little. let me start off by saying that i really do enjoy chictopia. i enjoy being able to put out photos of myself here to be judged and that this community is very friendly and positive, for the most part. i love that inevitably, opinions are always different but we still manage to offer encouraging words. if we were ever to see something we absolutely hated, we would never show it or let whoever know. we have the power and right to say whatever we want here at the same time with having the right to be respected and feel respected. when we take advantage of that, the consideration we give does not allow for one to feel respected. i’ve read here and there some things people say on their image description where they are not being sensitive to other members. they’re very open about the things they hate or dislike and focus on all the negative things about certain subjects. i.e. their dislike for kids, certain brands or articles of clothing. why focus on the reasons why you don’t like them and be so negative? what’s the point? i’m sure if you didn’t like kids there would be a way to keep the subject on a positive note. for example, explain how you couldn’t imagine yourself with kids yet or maybe even ever because there is something wrong with your own patience level or that because your career is more important. honestly, i don’t let these things bother me but what does is the fact that this negativity is here on chictopia where we all come to be judged.
