I’m ashamed that I haven’t posted recently! But please allow an explanation – I went down the shore, and my return welcomed the extreme heat. And in this scenario, I decided to call up whoever was available to go swimming. Within the past week, I’ve been in five different pools. So the combination of all of this has led to lackluster outfits.

Anyway, today was one of those days that starts out fine but gets progressively worse. Around 6pm I curled up in bed with my cat, accidentally fell asleep, and missed out on plans that I could have had. But lingering on such things don’t end up well, so I won’t dwell. There’s always tomorrow and any other day that follows. Man, I love summer.

I’m wearing earrings that Sadie Rose Casey over at Lost Boys & Lovers was kind enough to send me. I love jewelry, so it’s weird that I haven’t worn earrings in years… I think these might start a new obsession. We’ll see.
