I got this chiffon dress around 6months ago and I never regretted this purchase. I was rather pricey for a simple dress with a sheer and shimmery black fabric. But I’ve worn it in soooo many different ways that now I no longer think its that expensive for the amount of usage.
OUTFIT #1 (Photo 1&2)
I wore this outfit for my Sunday errands. It was casual but put together enough for family brunches. The sun was bright hot and I needed an easy breezy top. I tied the dress at the back of the neck and at my back : voila! it becomes a halter top ! To make sure the top doesn’t look too “old” I added the floral printed poofy skirt and a pair of red peep toes. The blazer was my final touch to keep the look more polished.

I styled it as an asymetrical dress. I layered it over the bodycon silver glitter skirt to match the dress’ texture. This is one of the times where I could take the dress for an event at night (in this case a blogger meet up). The was the fabric drapes is a “plus” factor of it.

Next, I made my dress function as a skirt. I tied it here and there (kinda complicated to describe without video) and it becomes an asymetrical skirt. asymetrical things are some of my favorite spring/summer trends. I think it easily adds interest to plain pieces. I went for a more rocker look with this by adding the denim jacket and some peep toe ankle boots.
