Lately I’ve been drawing inspiration from the 1920s/1930s English countryside, particularly through mystery films like Rebecca and Gosford Park, and Agatha Christie novels like Murder on the Orient Express and The Mysterious Affair at Styles. There’s something about a good old-fashioned mystery set in the English countryside that appeals to me. I’ve been watching a lot of Poirot with David Suchet as well. This outfit was mostly inspired by Joan Fontaine in Rebecca.
