It was my brother-in-law’s birthday yesterday, along with one of my husband’s close friends, so we decided to go out to dinner. It was kind of like a double date plus two birthday boys. We were supposed to go to Cheddars, but the wait was over an hour! We ended up in Macaroni Grill that’s in the same area since there was no wait.
I’ve worn the “top” before. It’s actually a shirt dress that I just tucked in and pulled it out a bit to get a loose type of feel. I’ve worn the shorts before, too. The shoes are BCBGeneration’s version of a shoe that Aldo released.
I really wanted to get the gray version of the Aldo one but they’re sold out at my local store and by the time I decided to get my butt to order it online (I wasn’t sure of what size I should get because I didn’t get to try it on), it was already sold out in the gray. :( I guess it wasn’t meant to be. I’m still on the search for the perfect close-toed gray pumps.
Anybody have any ideas?
I decided to try the denim on denim thing. Am I too late? Haha! I’ve always been told that one shouldn’t wear denim on denim but I guess some rules are made to be broken because I don’t think it looks bad if the two pieces have different shades. :)
Well thanks for all the comments in the previous post. Those shoes are crazy, I know! That’s why I wore it with something casual because they’re a statement piece all on their own. :)
