I had a struggle styling up these granny shorts. I have curvy hips and, thus, shorts like these aren’t the most flattering. I was skeptical when I thrifted these, but I was was slipping them on in the aisle a girl about my age passed by, saying, “Those are cute!” so I couldn’t leave the store without them, despite my hesitance at being able to effectively pull them off. But somehow it all came together and I’m quite in love with the entire ensemble. I want to wear it everyday! I thrifted another pair in red today! I couldn’t resist entitling this post “Granny Annie,” with, of course, obvious reference to my shorts. But, I also have an Aunt Annie (she doesn’t make pretzels) who’s a grandma and we call her Granny Annie.
For reasons like those I mentioned above, I believe I should be the Beso Inspiration. I’m not afraid to try new things, be it these granny shorts or even talls heels like these Seychelles clogs. Never before joining Chictopia did I sport heels! I have also brought my voice and participation to the Chictopia community, and I know Beso would benefit from that same enthusiasm.
