Move over stripes, there’s a new pattern around town—Polka Dots.
Ever since dotted tights were spotted everywhere (pun intended) in Fall and Winter, I have been enamored by the darling print that reminds me of Minnie Mouse. Like stripes, polka-dots have that vintage, yet modern quality. Small or big, heart-shaped or circle-shaped, I think they’re the perfect print to wear on a cute summer date or to mix up with stripes.
Here are some ideas:
1. Pair it with a plain white t-shirt like lightsilk and you’ll be ready to hit the town with your girls or your summer fling.
2. Castaway Vintage’s cute polka-dotted dress is the perfect way to stay chic and cool under the sweltering sun.
3. Can’t get enough of the print? Chubbylumpkin- mixed dots with dots for an adorable summer look topped off with a great hat.
4. Red is the perfect color to accent stripes or polka dots, but anjalouise used it to accent both prints in her chic outfit.
Polka dots are a fun print, so just have fun with it :)
