Wednesday…and hope you’re having a good one.=)
This was me sometime last week when we went to the rooftop cafe, had tea and watched Swallows feed, flying around the maiden tower. It was one warm evening (photo was taken at about 7pm) so i decided to wear another short shorts and paired it with this silk shirt to smarten it up a bit. No particular inspiration, just Marc by Marc Jacobs SS10-the way he played with colors mixing everything and anything together. I am not brave enough to mix prints but i do play with colors sometimes. I hope you like it.=)
I wrote yesterday that i was broke, and that i bought 2 bags from Net-a-porter.com. I was asked what they are but please forgive me if i can’t tell you, i dont want to ruin the surprise/my own excitement.=) But i can give you some clues- same sizes like this baby orange of mine.=) They are included in my sun wish list (to those of you who are with me in Pandora’s Box) and they are twinies (just different colors). They are already on the way and i hope to show them to you next week. And also, ive got a beautiful vintage piece that the husband got me- a black little beauty which is also coming next week and a couple more surprises. =) Things i think about to cheer myself up.=)
I spent all day today doing my DIY and will hopefully wear it in the next few days. It’s nothing complicated, just something i badly need and can’t find in any store here and so i ran to the shop and bought some fabrics. So just imagine me kneeling on the carpet, cutting the fabric with my doggies watching me as if saying “What, wanna bet? Is she gonna finish this one or destroy it again?”—“Ok, 3 chocolate drops if i win-i think she’s gonna destroy it again, look at her, does she look like she knows what she’s doing?” Yeah, my kids are like that. When they see me dusting and cleaning some stuff or doing the dishes or cooking, they give me this “Are you sick?” look. Very encouraging. Will be sewing in the balcony after i post, with tea on the side, and dogs on the floor, waiting to see who won the chocolate drops. What else, oh, we watched PRECIOUS last night. A bit disappointed but we did give it points a bit higher than BLIND SIDE. And please dont ask me about SATC 2, it’s not yet here!!! Waaahhhh!!! =’( I was tempted to google some photos but again, that will ruin my own fun, so i will wait. =)
That’s it.=) I hope you guys are having great day, tired im sure so what about treating yourselves some good meal or a drink tonight on the way home?=)
