Day At The Fair

I heart rompers. This is the only one I own (currently), but that will be changing. I wore this romper to the Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn, and while the day was steamingly hot, I kept cool in this outfit. I really feel it has a retro vibe, but the gladiator sandals give it an updated look.

Plus, being that I don’t wear shorts very often, I think this is a nice balance between shorts and almost wearing a dress. For many years, I didn’t wear shorts. I felt like my legs were too skinny, but wearing skirts was quite different. There’s more variety with dresses and skirts, but, as I see many a Chictopians doning shorts, it’s inspiring me to add a few more pairs to my wardrobe.
