this top was one of my penneys steals the other day. I mean stripes AND shoulder beading. I took the plunge and never looked back.
This week I got to spend time with my best friend who was in town for the holiday. Or I guess that was last week. Anyway, we had the BEST mexican food ever in this place with no air conditioning, talk about authentic. And then we hit up our favorite coffee house where I order my usual iced chai latte with half apple juice, half skim milk. And I got my usual stares and “ew gross”es. And then we played charades in downtown Holland. Which is a cutesy little beach town with a downtown walk with ice cream shops and statues of bands.
And then I time traveled yesterday. I went back to 1960 when there were no computers or credit cards in retail stores. So it was an insane day at work, the customers weren’t having as much fun as I was pretending we were back in the olden days. No computers = grumpy people.
Well I hope you all have had beautiful weekends and are gearing up for a great summer. I will be wearing breezy, sweet colored skirts all summer, like this white one. Loose fitting tops and gladiator like sandals are also my staples. Simplicity is key, as they say on covergirl commercials, easy breezy. If I had a commercial for my summer wardrobe, that’s it.
