Is it really the 8th of June? That’s so crazy. Anyway, in a week I will be done with school for this year! I have an art project to finish, and I have to figure out my dual enrollment before then, I assume. However, I don’t have to take a single final so I’m quite glad about that.
Anyway, this is the 1960’s mini shift dress I’ve mentioned a few times – and I adore it. It’s a different silhouette than I’m used to, and on the hanger it didn’t look that great. Admittedly, it’s a little big for me, but it’s just further proof for me that some pieces tend to look better on. I guess part of the reason why I’m so doubtful is that most of the items in vintage boutiques tend to have distinctive shapes, whereas looking through Urban Outfitters, one tends to come across more cohesiveness. I really want to “go vintage/used.” It’s better for the environment and I want to pretend I’m a hippie this summer. I want to find estate sales and go to thrift shops in random towns!
Hope all is well, happy Tuesday! xox Catherine
