Feeling very floral and vintage today thus the outfit. About 80% of this outfit is vintage from my mom, my friend’s mom and a few vintage thrift finds. I do thrift every now and then guys! The beige tones are quite neutral but the pleated top reminds me of that thing Carrie wore in SATC in about 3-4 scenes. I did not want to go pleated all the way so I chose a floral A-line skirt that has many tiny orange, yellow and green buds as the design. I got it from a friend’s mom who gave it to me about 5-6 years ago after she found out my LOVE for girly skirts. Since I was going in the pastel direction, I chose to contrast that with my accessories- I chose chocolate brown ones since I always go a bit more darker when it comes to accessorizing. My favorite part is this tulle and chiffon rosette bib which will be part of our up coming collection’s accessory line, Glimmer by Glitterati. The Chanel purse is another vintage find and I was quite lucky cause I got it for a bargain! Who would want to get rid of a Chanel bag for a cheap price, is a major question that puzzles me until now.Since it was quite a lovely day, I shot this in our tiny garden, where I also met up with my sewers who were to reproduce the patterns and prototypes I had for our new collection. I think I did quite blend in with the setting. Too bad we don’t have as much plants and flowers anymore due to my numerous pollen allergies, we had to take out the non-hypoallergenic ones.
The next few shots are closeup photos of my accessories. Enjoy! xx
