Errand day again today and I decided I was feeling a bit white, denim and beige so reversed the colors of my outfit from two weeks back, which was the D&G look and came up with this. The skirt is a great buy 3 years ago from Culte Femme and I love how it flows since the ruffles move with me when walking. The pale blue denim and chiffon is contrasted and edged out by the numerous tiny gold studs. Definitely one of my most favorite skirts ever, I am kind of happy I rediscovered it since I have totally long forgotten it till the garage sale cleanup session. I paired it with a white semi-sheer button down top from my brand and a turquoise necklace I acquired from a bazaar last year. Finished off the look with brown/ beige tones accessories including this Gucci canvas purse I rarely use. Also wore my new chain heels from Aldo which for some reason hurt (I never get hurt with heels but this pair hurt me, seriously). Braided my hair since I am again still to lazy to style it and went on to do the tasks I am set out to do for the day.
The best thing about clearing out your closet is that you get to see clearly the quality stuff you always forgot to wear. Such was the case for this skirt. Having less clutter and clothes made me see clearly and reminded me of this treasure!
By the way, my brother, Enzo was nice enough to loan me his camera from here on out for my Chictopia photos hence the clearer shots in this and in the last blog entries. I think he’s the best when it comes to supporting my need to blog my outfits! And I am so lucky to have a brother who understands me that well!
xx
