This originally started as a Chic don’ts: How to avoid over-accessorizing. But then I realized that I would just be a big fat hypocrite – I wear so much bling it makes Jay-Z go “damn.”
Instead, I thought I’d let you guys peep some of the jewelry that is in my box. Starting with necklaces.
Iosselliani rhinestone panther necklace – This is by far the most expensive piece in my collection. The original price is something like $575+ and available here. It’s a bit hard to capture all the details in a photo, but in real life it’s quite the stunner. Iosselliani is my kryptonite.
Little Rooms keyhole necklace – The newest addition to the family. This was made by Chictopia’s own September style icon Ester who graciously gifted this to me this week. It’s now in my regular rotation. We all know I wear the same jewelry every day right?
vintage rhinestone oversized cross – Best $15 ever. I was waiting around for one of the Coeds on Telegraph. I wandered into Mars vintage, a frequent destination for me back in college, and found this nifty cross. It seems like everyone is wearing crosses these days so I’ve kind of semi-retired this.
hand-painted rosary from the Vatican – An ex-bf brought this back for me from Rome. And although he SUCKS now. The rosary is actually quite special looking and blessed by two popes. I don’t think I wear this very often or at all these days. Maybe in my next rap video. Kidding.
