Every Memorial Day weekend, San Francisco’s Mission district holds a cultural street festival that features an array of activities for the family. Vendors, live performances, food, costumes and way way more. I love going to it! My favorite parts are shopping for the hand-crafted accessories/jewelry and for the DANCING. It’s such a fun environment and the sun was shining so beautifully that Sunday!
As for my outfit, both top and bottom pieces were customized in some way by me. The blue-striped top had a section on the chest that was way too modest for my taste so I cut it out. Other than the cuteness, I bought the top because the brand was “albee” and thats what my family calls my boyfriend, Albert! Haha. Anywho, the high-waisted shorts have a more epic story behind them. I went to Goodwill with the intention of finding some white high-waisted jeans to cut into some shorts. And yes, I found them! BUT I also found……6 pairs of earrings, 6 belts, 3 tops, 3 blazers, 2 necklaces, a sweater, and a backpack. I went bizerk up in there! It’s no surprise. I’m still frugal though!
