Hello everyone.=)
TGIF!!!!!!=)
This was me a couple of days ago when the husband took me to a rooftop bar. It was only 5 minutes away from our block so i was brave enough to walk around in hot pants,plus i was wearing a silk jacket as cover up anyway. The husband is quite tolerant and open-minded with my dressing but i have to say that he has to check the outfit before we walk out the door. It’s like “Okay, can i walk in the street with you and hold your hands with that outfit?” And sometimes on the last minute we’d change the “too sexy for the locals” shorts or the “you cant walk in those” shoes or the “you’ll freeze your a** off” dress. He’s always happy to lend his jacket or take the taxi home but sometimes i also want to make our lives easier so i’d say, fine, “give me 2 minutes” and go back to the bedroom and change. That night, he allowed the hotpants but he asked for a cover up, so, good-good.=) The blouse is 2 years old. I’ve worn it twice before and i think it’s one top i’d wear at least once every year until the sequins fall off.=) I love the color and the fact that it can make a simple casual look less simple. And i think you know the rest.=) I hope you like it.=)
The place was okay, we like rooftop bars/cafes, balcony/patio/verranda/terrace whatever you call it.Anything that’s outside, anything al fresco. Not just because i smoke (because here where i am, you can smoke anywhere!) but because we dont like airconditioning much, we prefer the fresh air and some view (it doesnt matter if it’s somebody’s roof or the parking lot!) and a bit of city noise (like the incessant blowing of car horns by the impatient and important drivers on the road.) Being indoors makes us feel a bit too sheltered. It’s a beautiful box with nice chairs and tables and music but it’s a bit too formal/ too serious/ too boring sometimes. So everytime we go to a place, we look for the “outside” place. And when we find a good one, we’d be there for hours, i would have tea (i know i’m boring! But give me B52, it’s sweet. it’s chocolate, it’s strong and it’s on fire!!) you’ll be crawling on the floor and i’m still dancing the dancing queen!) =) as always while he’d have Espresso/Americano or Gin and Tonic or red wine or Jameson but some days, he’d have a couple of glasses of the local beer (He drinks 5 bottles of beer,maximum, a month.) He’s more adventurous with drinks and food, i’m the one who have the same thing everytime until they kitchen gets tired of me and say “Madam, we dont have that today. Here’s the menu, please try soemthing else.” As if telling me that the Chef can actually cook/prepare other things. But they had what i wanted that day.=)
That’s it for me, i hope you have a good friday and a fun weekend.=)
Thank you so so much for the comments and votes on my “Blue Bird” entry. I didnt excpect that it would get that many chic points as i knew it was something, how should i call it- sort of avant garde? Something that’s not for everyone so i thought- mmm…tricky, but oh well.=) You know me, i’d wear anything, well, almost anything.=) And as always, it’s for you, who always come and visit my page and keep me going.=) Thank you…
PS- Please believe me when i say im not as miserable as i look!!!!!!!!!!! hehehe!
Listening to- Patricia Kaas (surprise surprise!)
Have a good day everyone!!!=)
