I’M BACK! && I’ve missed you all so dearly!
Life has been exhausting and the thought of taking outfit pictures usually leaves me more drained. However, I’ve fought through it and taken the day off to catch up on the internet. Today has been such incredible weather that I couldn’t resist! It seems Canada has been struck by a ridiculous heat wave that has yet to ease up, and even though I like to complain about it— I’m head-over-heels in love with it. So how do I keep warm when I can’t strip down naked and walk through the streets without being arrested?
Firstly, the hair must go up in some sort of ponytail! I love my hair but when it comes to summer time all I can think about is a razor and shaving the whole damn thing off. So to avoid this fit of madness I play it safe and usually keep it pinned on top of my head. How do I keep it fashionable? Headbands and by using my favorite accessory— scarves— I tie it into a big bow.
Secondly, any kind of clothing that doesn’t let a breeze pass through has to go. If it’s tight, constricting and covers the majority of my body, I will kiss it goodbye. Rompers are my favorite with the maxi dress coming in a tight second. But this cute pair that I picked up at Garage is slouchy, comfortable and hardly constricting. So with open arms I have welcomed it into my wardrobe.
But alas! The best part of this whole outfit is the purse I got for 50 cents at a garage sale— my official stomping ground for good deals. Topped off with a chunky ring and layered jewelery I’m out the door— embracing the sunlight with SPF 60 sunblock.
Ah the simplicity of summer!
P.s Thanks for all the comments guys, you rock!
