I had no sleep last night and only got to sleep at around 11 am today till around 2 pm. My lunchtime meeting got pushed to 4 pm since I was too busy catching up on my snoozing and I am so happy the girls, Lissa and Nina were accomodating and understanding enough to move it to a later time.
Anyway, since I was majorly rushing and groggy from my 3 hour barely there slumber, I decided to go back to basics and went head to toe black, something I definitely missed wearing this summer season. It was perfect cloudy weather and I am quite please with that since I got to wear my padded longsleeved Zara blouse which would have been not at all practical to wear on a hot summer’s day back here. Since I was quite covered up up top, I chose to keep it snazzy and shimmery down below in sequined hot pants my bff got for me from HK during one of her recent trips. I had Balmain Spring 2010 in mind while dressing up today. I accessorized with my favorite big Edie earrings and gem bracelt from Forever21, my never failing fringe studded bag (it’s just soooo easy to tote around and it can accomodate my gazillion stuff) and of course, studded Zara shoes I decided to play up and transform to makeshift boots by adding black socks. Surprisingly, all of us today wore shorts which was a great coincidence since it just goes to show, stylish minds do think alike.
Nonetheless, I am pleased to announce our meeting went by smoothly as we are planning an up and coming garage sale where we will be showcasing and selling our oldie but definitely goodie stuff. We are so excited and cannot wait…it will be sooner than you think.
After the meeting, went around a shopped a bit with the girls and then hungout with Lissa (major bonding session) and saw her magazine feature for Chalk Juner 2010. Watched Shrek Forever After and wrapped up the busy day!
The outfit was very perfect for the productive and busy vibe of the day. I call it power dressing to the extremes… sequin style! Hope everyone’s day went by as well as mine did! xx
