A hot and humid summer’s day outfit inspired by D&G Spring Summer 2010 collection. Refer to last photo for my inspiration for the look. I love the cowgirl/ all american look so I decided to give it a try and wear my take of it. The lace skirt was my favorite piece in this since it’s so fun and frilly to wear… All I practically needed was a cowboy hat and I was ready to RODEO.
This day was quite errand filled and in my usual odd and overdressed manner, I decided to wear a teeny weeny short lace ruffle mini to do my errands. I again got the standard glares and stares especially from the store I was buying fabric from for our up and coming new collection which I am sooooo excited about. Kept the accessories as rustic as possible to keep up with the Brokeback vibe of the denim shirt. Went for caramel tones for my boots and purse and was good to go. I did love wearing this outfit since it’s ultra fun and comfy and I rarely wear collared button down shirts so this was a welcome change.
After errands and fabric task, headed to Rockwell for a fun caffeine-charged Midweek Wednesday night with my dad, brother and boyfriend. Another busy day tomorrow… hope you all have a great week ahead! xx
PS: I am addicted to curling my hair again though it’s quite a bit shorter now than before! Thanks for all your nice comments btw!
